Welcome to....




An isle that mirculously surfaced from nowhere, Velstand Isles is advertised as the new paradise that offers the soul peace, love, and happiness--it was almost too good to be true. A select few have been selected for an all expense move. These "lucky" ones had specific qualifications that were needed in order to be chosen.

First, only males are allowed to found a family but each succeeding heir may be of either sex. Second, they had to marry within the first four days of their cycle. Third, since they show courage in moving to an unknown location, all members of the family must choose in ALL chance cards. Fourth, to promote the "healthy" lifestyle, each founder must start a garden within their lifetime. Fifth, to complement the previous rule, all family members must not let their physical health decline. Sixth, each founder must start on a 5x5 lot. And Lastly, Velstand Isles promotes continuity and togetherness but this does not mean the past is forgotten therefore the ghosts of the families ancestors may roam freely.

In regards to offspring, all must attend the local University but there are some exceptions. Sims that do not require a degree for their lifetime aspirations may take the option to not attend. For example, a Romance Sim who wants to have 20 simultaneous lovers may choose not to attend (but then again the UNI is such a great way to acquire all those lovers!). Another example is a Family Sim who wants to celebrate their Golden Anniversary may opt out. Each heir must have at least one offspring. As I mention before, after the founders--each succeeding heir may be of either gender. Also, in order to avoid boredom, each member of the family who starts a new household is entitled to a portion of the family fortune. The rules stated here are subject to change.

(Obviously, this is not a typical prosperity challenge. To tell you the truth, I'm simply not up to starting out with several families with multiple members! Not because I'm chicken but I'm a control freak! I NEED to be able to start with a ONE founder and focus on him then get the ball rolling. It really sounds like a legacy but I really like the concept of the Prosperity Challenge. I just get BORED after a while and I figured having several founders will cure that. I will be playing this by a 4-sim day rotation. It will be really casual so don't expect great writing all the time--but I do try!
